My approach to making artwork...

I think my approach to making art is best described by the terms:
chaotic: (despite my trying to make things orderly)
accidental: (lucky accidents seem to move things forwards for me... right in the middle of chaos)
stubborn: (believing in myself despite all the other opinions offered)
absurd (sometimes it seems absurd to persist)
astonishment: (when things actually work as planned)
dreamer: (when I continue to suppose I can create new ideas... I just can't stop really)
confusion: (a frequent state that goes along with freelancing for me)

I wish I could feel like I was a suave professional... moving forward in a smooth untroubled state of savoir-faire... but so often it seems to be just the opposite.

Usually it seems too complicated to avoid the ruffled feathers and doubt.
But I guess it's exciting in the final outcome...

You should add 'PROUD' to your list... you should feel so, when you see all the wonderful work you have done :o)

Beautiful work in a beautiful place. I am fascinated by the reflections. I'm starting a chapter of my book where reflections are a key component. I'll try to make my ideas as thoughtful as your photography.

Your photos are absolutely beautiful. I've been taking lots of photos with my iphone lately, which is a surprisingly good phone camera-- and I think I'm getting bit by the photo-bug.

Yes indeed, taking pictures is a fun hobby. Especially if the camera has lots of range.

I'd suggest moving up from an iPhone to something like a Panasonic Lumix FZ-28. Great range from macro to wide-angle to telephoto... a truly fabulous Leica lens... image stabilization... movies... and affordable too.

If you rearrange the letters in your list, they almost spell CASCADE. Just change “astonishment” to “excitement” and you’re good to go. (Guess I shouldn’t watch The DaVinci Code every time it comes on cable.)
